Mission Woodworks is a father/son team continuing a heritage of gifted craftsmen begun by our Polish immigrant grandfather/great-grandfather as a craftsmen at Stickley Furniture. He became an inspiration to his grandson, leading him to study under two European cabinetmakers in Upstate New York. This knowledge of quality craftsmanship is now being passed to the next generation.
We began with a two-fold mission in mind, to make a difference in people’s lives by providing them with skillfully constructed products reflecting that heritage of fine workmanship, and then using a portion of the profit generated to invest in the lives of others.
We offer products that even the most delicate hand could touch on every surface and not encounter a sharp edge or splinter. The materials we use in all of our products are of the highest quality, from kiln dried premium wood to the selection of fasteners and joinery that result in a superior product. We feel anyone walking up to one of our doors would be able to see the level of care put into each piece to provide something truly special.
Our greater mission, however, is to affect the lives of others in a way that is much deeper and far reaching. God has richly blessed us in so many ways, inspiring a desire to bless others. Therefore, $25 for every door and shutter set we sell goes to charity. This charity is very close to our hearts, as our grandson/nephew, Finn Daniel, was diagnosed with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy in 2018. Donations will be made to ParrentProjectMD who is leading the charge in raising funds for research for a cure to this devastating disease and creating a community of support for affected families. This work not only affects our sweet Finn, but many young boys who have yet to leave their own mark on the lives of their family and community. To learn more about how you can be a part of the work going on to fight this disease we encourage you to read Finn’s Story and visit ParentProjectMD.org.
Mission Woodworks is a company dedicated to a heritage of superior quality products and a mission of hope.
